"Christ In Us" Serving the needs of others...
Helpers with Heart!
Hearts – a universal symbol of caring. But a heart with a bow is very special. In the case of Christian Service, it symbolizes a gift from one parishioner to another parishioner who is in need. Whenever you see this tag-line <3 in a Christian Service bulletin article, you will know one of your fellow parishioners has asked for a helping hand. Some needs are one-and-done – like someone needing a ride to a doctor appointment. Sometimes the need could be a longer duration.
<3 Christian Service is presently looking for 3 people who would be available for about an hour in the morning (~7am) to help a young family get their children ready and into the family van so the mother can transport the them to school. This need will begin right after New Year’s Day and likely span at least a few months because one of their children was recently hurt in a play accident. Grandmother and Auntie will be helping. But in the interest of not burning people out, they are hoping to find 3 more people to help once a week. The family lives on the north side of town near Fowlerville High School. You would not be driving the children to school. You would only be helping get them ready for school and into the family van.
Please pray on this. If the Spirit moves you to help, please call the Christian Service office for more details: 517-223-8684 x312. Thank you and God bless!
